THE SEED announced as Tunes For Change recipient

Tunes For Change have announced that The Seed Fund has been selected as donation recipients for album two (available for download from 28 June). Tunes For Change Founder Richard Wilson stated that “organizations such as The Seed are so important to our artistic community. Unfortunately, there is a great lack of philanthropic organizations that carry out similar activities. Thanks to the album’s contributing artists, labels, and publishers, it will be a privilege to be-able to assist The Seed and the brilliant work that they do”.

Tunes For Change is a non-profit public company limited by a Guarantee. Every three months, an exclusive compilation album is launched on the companies website: www.tunesforchange.org. Individuals can download the entire album for a donation of one dollar or more… how much they donate is completely up to them. At the end of the three months, Tunes For Change donates 100% of all profits to a pre-selected charity or non-profit. Tunes For Change is committed to making a positive difference… one album at a time.

So go on! Download the second album from the 28th of June, every dollar will go to The Seed Fund.

  • "When Danielle and I first started the fund we always intended for it to grow into something that wasn’t just funded by ourselves but contributed to by many movers and shakers within the Australian music community.

In the beginning we felt it was necessary for this fund to have credentials and for that my intials served well. But now as we look towards the next five years it’s time to put the next phase of the plan in motion. This is an Initiative funded BY the music community FOR the music community and I feel The Seed best represents our inclusive approach” John Butler
